The “Concord” Air Jordan 11 will be back up for grabs today, March 19, via Finish Line starting at 10am ET.
The iconic sneaker returned to retailers back in December and there were plenty to go around, but that doesn’t mean Finish Line’s stock will last long once the link goes live.
The remastered “Concord” 11s will come with a bulkier “OG” patent leather cut, similar to other recently released 11s like the “Space Jam” and “Midnight Navy” colorways. Additionally, the 2018 Concord 11s will come with a ’45′ on the heel as opposed to the traditional 23.
The all-time classic sneaker made its debut during the 1995-96 NBA season and has been retrod multiple times since, most recently in 2011. A low top version of the “Concord” Air Jordan 11 also released in 2014.
While colorways such as “Concord” and “Space Jam” are beloved for their own reasons, the “Bred” Air Jordan 11 has the distinction of being the shoe worn by Michael Jordan as he clinched his fourth NBA championship on Father’s Day in 1996.
To date, the classic pair has been re-released on three separate occasions—first in 2001, as part of a CDP in 2008 and lastly in 2012. Now, the word is that the 2019 version will be the closest to the original, most notably sporting the high-cut patent leather overlay along the base.
